Archery is an inclusive sport and safeguarding is embedded into the structure and day to day running of our national governing body, ArcheryGB, and its affiliated clubs and organisations.

The Valley Bowmen of Huddersfield is committed in ensuring that children, young people and adults at risk (vulnerable adults) enjoy archery in a safe and supportive environment.

YOUNG PERSONS

Junior Members under 18 have to respect reasonable instructions from the Club for their own safety and wellbeing.

The Club, it’s Officers and Members can not accept the responsibility for care of persons less than 18 years of age (or vulnerable adults) unless this is expressly given and agreed. Therefore; members under the age of 18 years of age must be under the direct supervision of a parent/legal guardian or a person expressly nominated by a parent/legal guardian at all times. This includes attendance at outdoor and indoor club shooting venues and transport to and from any activities organised by Valley Bowmen of Huddersfield.
